Robert Moran is Chairman of the Hudson Board following the management buyout of the business in April 2018. The Board is responsible for setting the growth strategy of the business, and the governance and stewardship of the company under its new ownership structure.

As a long-standing private equity investment professional, Robert has extensive experience in guiding companies through periods of ownership change and structural growth and development.

Robert has been involved as a principal investor in the private equity field for close to 20 years and has operated at a board and strategic level in a variety of businesses and sectors.

He is known for taking an active involvement in the underlying businesses, with a focus on delivering innovative strategies through organisational and decision-making simplification and the empowerment of key people. He has sat on numerous public company Boards and Committees. He currently sits on two public company Boards and is independent chairman of two businesses undergoing transformation following management buyout, and a number of smaller private companies.

In addition to his commercial and business experience, Robert is experienced in investment banking activities, including financings, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, and in his earlier career practiced corporate and commercial law at a senior level.
