Executive Coaching services should be considered when there is a mutual interest by both the employer and employee to maximise performance.
Workplace coaching is a solution-focused, result-oriented systematic process in which the coach facilitates the enhancement of work performance. Executive Coaching involves the use of an external workplace coach. It is a tailored one-on-one intervention that involves HR, the employee and the employee’s manager. It can be implemented for individual employees or groups of employees as part of a broader development programme. Coaching can be an outcome of talent reviews, high potential planning or succession planning.
Hudson Talent Management uses coaches who are trained and accredited and who utilise the coaching methodology within the context of their own experiences and the particular situation. Coaching psychology is a relatively new approach to the enhancement of human performance. It sits at the intersection of counselling, clinical and organisational psychology. Where clinical and counselling psychologists tend to work with the distressed and / or dysfunctional client, coaching psychologists tend to work with well-functioning clients, using theoretically grounded and scientifically-validated techniques to help them set and reach higher goals in their personal and business life.
OUR COACHES WILL HELP PARTICIPANTS TO:
- Develop stretching, specific, attractive, realistic and timeframed goals operationalised into an action plan
- Change their behaviour thoughts and emotions to reach their goals
- Identify and enact solutions and increase problem solving ability
- Manage their motivation so they can make directed and purposeful change
- Learn to direct their own learning
We select our coaches to meet the needs of the individuals and the organisation. In some instances the coaches may also act as mentor, passing on their expert knowledge in specific areas to the participant. In these instances the coaches will be matched with the employees based on their knowledge and experience in addition to their coaching skills. Executive Coaching is appropriate for a wide cross section of employees and can be complemented by internal coaching.
All of our executive coaching programmes are tailored. The programme length and level of the coach will vary depending on individual and organisational needs.
